Arts Technologist KamranV builds elegant bridges between the real and the ideal. Current interests are holograms, automation, and quadraphonic music. Recent explorations include developing the PHONOCUT home vinyl recorder, reimagining Moogfest, co-creating the SONOS studio and producing Suzanne Ciani’s LIVE Quadraphonic, the first quadraphonic vinyl release in over 30 years. In the aughts as an artist manager and new media producer at Interscope Records, he developed early digital music, social, mobile, video platforms, and experimental formats, serving as a producer for spatial music releases for Nine Inch Nails and Beck. As co-founder of Echo Park’s largest music facility Bedrock.LA, he also serves Bedrock.LA’s neighborhood as Echo Park’s Chamber of Commerce (EPCC) President. EPCC produces the Echo Park Rising music, art and local business festival.
